About our meetings

Our meetings are very informal. We try to create a space where any or all of us can bring our news to the group and share anything that is on our minds. But no one is under any pressure to speak.
On average there are six of us at any one meeting from a pool of about ten active members.
There may be some information to share - for instance from the Lymphoma Association or from other things one of us may have read or found on-line.
We are always on the look out for how we can organise things better to meet our needs and those who come for the first time.
Above all we try to work like a group of friends who are able to support each other around our lymphomas. Our families and other friends try to be supportive of course, but we find that it so helps to talk with people who have been through or are going through the same thing as ourselves.
We appreciate it may be daunting to come to a meeting for the first time and we are always open to suggestions about how this can be made easier. If you would like to talk to someone before you come please see the contact page.
We ask everyone who comes to make a donation of £3 each meeting to cover the costs of room hire and other incidental costs. We do not see ourselves as a fund raising group.
